DENVER EASTSIDE HUMAN SERVICES

Eastside Human Services represents a significant public investment within one of Denver’s historically under-served neighborhoods.  Through this building the City extends significant services to residents of the area.  Consolidating these services required extensive coordination and review with staff to ensure a smooth transition to this new, modern, and predominately open office plan.  Amply daylight, great ventilation, and a healthy workplace make this LEED Gold facility a welcome change for staff.

The building design portrays an openness to the residents of the neighborhood.  With vibrant and exciting public spaces, the architecture shrouds its security intensive design and provides a sense of dignity and community.  The building mass takes advantage of the site slope to create a scale appropriate to the community.
